will footman james insure modied cars , and will they cover for 5000 miles per year.i phoned a classic car insurer ones ,they would onley insure for less then 3000 per anum and car must be kept in garage no mods. simon 
i am sure they will as i have mine insured through them, not too sure about the milage though as i only have it insured for 3000 miles and all mods declared with parking on the drive. they will also do agreed value as i have that also. give them a call i’m sure they will be able to do something for you, at the end of the day you have nothing to lose by calling them.
try adrian flux as well as mine is due for renewal and they have given me a very competitive quote
Yes they will but of course they may “load you up” if you have serious performance mods.
Mine was for 5000 miles per year, garaged overnight and just the exhaust notified as a mod.
But beware, their insurance does’nt normally cover you to drive any other vehicle. (not even third party only)
Footman James were not able to insure cars with lots of engine mods , i rang up when my insurance was due a while ago and explained i was running 400 bhp+ the chap explained that their underwriter had cracked down big time .
i ended up going through Adrian flux via a contact of Robs , they were pretty damn cheap too

thanks guys, just been quoted 990 thats for gto and honda civic with my daughter whos 25 on honda with andrian flux some of the other companies qouted 1000 just for honda with daughter, funny thing is the honda is almost as much as gto its 430 for gto and 560 for our 1.7 honda coupe auto :lol: :lol: ps with agreed value 10k
