Does anyone know where i can buy them from please?
They occasionally come up used. Im not sure if anyone has reproduced a set to buy new. I had a set but sold them on as didnt really like the look of them. They will replace the complete strip that runs above your window when your door is closed so you will need to remove the rubbers and metal strip to swap them over. Not difficult to do but so you know what to expect. Ebay is probably your best bet. I got mine from there and have seen one other set come up on a car for sale. ( you can always contact the seller to see if they are happy to remove prior to the sale)
These were fitted by the Japanese dealers and were a genuine Mitsubishi Supplied after market part.
I have tried to buy these new in Japan without any success for over 10 years.
Sources come up with supposedly new old stock, but its always lies and they never have any, they just think they can find them and make a profit.
There was a new unfitted set on Ebay a few years back that sold for £350 !!
Cheers Rob
Thats a bit too much for them!
@GSXRKID I’m looking to chnage my gto brake discs but ideally would like to put bigger ones not sure if that’s possible ?
I dont know why but brakes i have at the moment ain’t very and car don’t stop straight away.
Please suggest
Is your car a MK1 GTO? If thats the case you have the small brakes. Get hold of a set of 3000GT brakes as they are bigger. 313mm if i remember correctly. Never had a problem with the stopping power on mine.
Thanks …would thsese replace my existing easily or have to modify?
Just be careful with clearance on aftermarket alloy wheels the mk2 brakes are massive and most wheels will need a spacer. However they stop good!!
Can someone please help me
I need to find wind deflectors since water drops in the car when rains !
Sounds like you need new door seals!
Can’t see why wind deflectors would stop rain… Unless your missing trim?
@Butler do you think i need a door seal?
See in the picture there is a gap between window glass and seal …thanks
Yep you need new door seals , thats knackered
Craig
