Tonight dear people i stand before you as a very very happy man 
Wanted new insurance on my 97 3000gt with minor mods. It is a second car so not a daily driver it is kept in my garage has only done 34k miles i was looking for a max mileage of 2k a year, I have no ncb to take over to it and i am 53 years young. After having a phone around and thanks to this site i went to A PLAN and got a quote of (wait for it ) £285 with £250 excess. Hows that then Couldnt get my cheque book out quick enough. Give them a go 
Hearing good things about A-plan on the MLR.
Just to add one more thing to my 1st post, I tried Sky insurance they came in at £441.00 as i said in my 1st post A PLAN came in at £285 witch i will be taking up but it makes you wonder why should the difference be so vast.
I’m with A-Plan, check the garaging requirement.
If within 1/2mile of your house between 10pm and 7am, it has to go in the garage.
Sky insurance are an import/modified specialist, so thay’re not the most competitive with the stock UK cars .

There is no problem with the garage arrangment my car is garaged all the time and then my daily driver is then put in front of the garage doors.I must say they did advise me of this at the time.Please dont think i am knocking Sky, I spoke to a great young guy there named Luke & he was very helpfull & very professional and i thought his qoute was quite good but then i tried A PLAN & the rest is history.Regards Bob
I have 3 policies through A-Plan and no one can get near them so far.

A-Plan wouldn’t touch mine, too many mods.
