Hi guys,
I’ve been looking at your posts about Sky Insurance and wow. They beat the nearest quote by £400 with £200 less excess. I’m 35, 9 years no claims and I’ve put my Mrs on it at 33 with only 3 years no claims and that’s for a 94 (L reg) GTO N/A with mods :smiley:
The only thing I would like to say is that they do like to tie you down hard on the policy, no changes to it what so ever without having to cough up cash first. But saying that a massive saving of £400 has got to be worth it.
I must say though, if I can prove I am a GTOUK member I could save over £300 :smiley: Well done GTOUK for managing to get these massive discounts for full members :smiley:
By the way my cheque is in the post and I’m looking forward to becoming a full member very soon :smiley:

Sky definitely did the business for me too. Got caught on road after insurance policy ran out and previous insurer didnt send me a renewal, I know its no excuse but these things happen. Landed me with 6 points to go with 4 for an sp30. Contacted sky who quoted me 445 tpft or 629 on a 91 TT. that was quite a bit less than I was expecting, Privilege was 621 tpft. Thats just me to drive it, 37 year old, no mods. I didnt even bother trying any others, took out the policy there & then

smudge what was the quote you got from them :?
i’m phoning tommorow to querie my renewal quote of £466,i think it should be cheaper for a n/a auto with minor mods as i have seen cheap quotes for tt’s on here.

I’m paying £491 Full comp, protected no claims for me and the MRS. I’m 35, 9 years no claims, 3 points (speeding), parked on drive, Thatcham 1 alarm in LE10 area. The MRS is 33 with clean License and 3 years no claims and of coarse all mods declared :smiley:
