Yorkshire Dales Meet?

Hi,

being a Newbie here, and to GTO ownership, i don’t want to tread on toes, or pee off anyone, so just say if I am…

Does anyone fancy a meet in North Yorkshire, in the Dales, around Settle and Malham Area?

I also have been a Pajero Owner for years, and run quite a few events on www.pocuk.com - perhaps we could combine meets … ?

I am a Chef and Hospitality Manager, so could also sort out camping, bunk barn, b&b, pub meal, tea stops etc, as I am quite linked in with pubs, campsites etc in the area.

I guess, we could meet on a Saturday, have a drive about, in convoy etc - I could organise a treasure hunt or scatter rally, a lunch stop, then have a BBQ at a venue, folks could stay over, then similar on the Sunday, or tie it in with another event date etc - a Country Show or something (maybe displaying vehicles?), then folks depart…

Is this of interest to anyone?

Or, If not on this scale, just a pub meet and chinwag?

We are within 90 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford, Bury, Burnly, Manchester, Liverpool, Lakes, Blackpool, Preston etc

any comments?

Myself & Diane also but depending on when, we will be up in the Yorkshire dales with the caravan for a week from the 22nd August, sometime in July might be good but avoid the 11th as we have Japs on that day, you might like to come to that one with us :wink:
