Hi All,
Anybody from Yorkshire/Derbyshire or surrounding ares looking to meet up. I am in Chesterfield and it would be great to get a local meet going.

Thanks Ian.

I am also in Chesterfield & am always up for a meet but for the first time ever I have sorned my car for the winter.

Julian.

Hi Julian,

When will it be back on the road? Be good to get a meet going.

Ian.

I’m up for a meet Ian

Steve

Great Steve. That’s three in this area. I am sure there is more members looking to meet up. Could arrange a few drive outs once we have the numbers up.

Ian.

My lay off is more than just sorn, I have had shoulder surgery so cant drive the car till next year anyway, will be back on the road for April which is more or less the start of the Meet season, I will still come along & say hi if you arrange anything, somebody has to keep an eye on Stevie,

Julian.

Cool, Just thinking if a weeks notice to the meet date would be good. The only advantage of this is we can get a better estimated weather forcast. What do you think guys?

Ian.

Sounds like a plan Ian.

Sort a nice pub, have a beer, lunch and a natter will be great.

Looking forward to meeting a new Club car Ian.

Throw a couple of dates up and we’ll get something sorted.

Great. How’s the 26th October sound to you all? I am open to suggestions on the meeting point?

Ian.

Hi Ian,

Sorry it might have been useful if I’d told you we can’t do any weekends in October I’m afraid, got a heavy schedule with meets and visitors.

Tracie

Not to worry. I will look at dates into November. Any suggestions on meeting point anyone.

Ian.

I’ve got lots of mates in York, southern meets are a bit much for me but I’d love to come to a northern meet. Plenty good places but a long time since I lived there, the Ship at Acaster was good I recall, right by the river and easy off the A-roads.

Sadly doubt I’ll have the car ready till early December and with a baby due mid-December it’ll be next year for me but keep us posted, would be awesome to do some meets and see some other cars - the last 3000GT I saw in Scotland was 15+ years ago, although I think @spiros is across in Glasgow and @Gav72 is a fifer.

Yes a northern meet will be good and for us up here, York or thereabouts is 3 1/2 to 4 hours drive from glasgow !

Me and Trace are going up to Kirkbride on Sunday to Racewars, is that something you can get to? @spiros

Steve

Sorry Steve short notice I’m working on Sunday ( restaurant manager ) and the car still off the road … http://forum.gto.club/t/car-not-starting-please-help/65364/7 …too busy with work to look in to it !

We could organise a main meet up event near York when everyone has their cars back on the road. We could do it this year at some point or wait until spring next year. What do you all think?

Ian.

Well if @Jeemy is :baby: occupied till next year then maybe a York meet in the New Year/Feb, would be nice to meet you Jeemy, Spiros and @Gav72 , and a Derbyshire meet this year just for a quick lunch and chat on a free Sunday.

Lets pick a date in November and get something sorted. @Julian @PenaltyCharge @Orv can you suggest a nice pub, Steve and in are Sheffield and don’t really know the pub/facilities that way.

Sounds as if most people are off the road right now which is a shame, as I said before I am sorn till the end of March but next spring sounds good to me.
