I’m 26, home owner, garaged, mods declared, 8yrs ncb, no points, cat 1, no tracker, 16000 miles, £4995 value and £650 excess.

Try Tesco Online, I haven’t found anyone cheaper, although with mods it depends on who you speak to as to if they know what you are on about.

Yeah I’ve found TESCOS are the best. Even if you have to get a tracker installed, it still works out cheaper than most quotes I’ve had.

Most insurance companies wouldn’t touch me (24yrs old, fncb 6+ years, no accidents bla bla) they didn’t want to know!

But Tescos (online) gave me a quote of £950 fully comp, excess of £250. Just need to get a tracker installed.

oh… and find a GTO TT :roll:

What am I doing wrong I’m 24 full no claims 6yrs driving, cat 2 imo, tracker, garaged in middle of scotland. £1200 and mines a N/A. Guess I’ll be on the phone tommorow.

My insurance would have been high 700’s if I had not moved to Sheffield city centre, where its now automatically £200+ more! (despite being secured in an underground private car-park with cctv and barrier to entry. go figure. makes me challenge the insurers as to how my car could possibly be more likely to get stolen when its at a more secure address. hmmm.
Could be worse, could be The manor estate in Sheffield I guess (+£600!) - I kid you not!
