The xmas do will be held in an old favourite on the 5th of December 2015

at the

Whitehouse Hotel,
Kegworth,
Derby,
DE74 2DF ,

I have provisionally booked 15 rooms for us,

The hotel facilities including Spa, Swimming Pool etc,

Prices are as follows for Room, breakfast, 4 Course Christmas Dinner

So to clarify:

Double room, 2 people, everything included = £100
Single room, 1 person, everything included = £75

Fan of Melon served with winter berries and blackcurrant Coulis
Classic prawn and smoked salmon cocktail with a rich Marie rose sauce

MAINS
Roast Turkey with all the trimmings
Roast Beef with all the trimmings
White wine poached salmon served with lemon and dill cream
Roast vegetable Wellington with a tomato and and sweet pepper sauce

DESSERTS
Classic Christmas pudding served with rich rum custard
Baked Vanilla Cheesecake with cinnamon apple compote and cream
Glazed Cherry frangipane tart with Cream

Looks like the name of the hotel has changed, from their website:

Kegworth Hotel (formerly Kegworth Whitehouse Hotel)

I take it their site is being used for directing booking with the Hotel - no GTOUK shop item this year?

Just to mention it - last year there was a request for a shop item that was “no room - meal and function only”…
… not sure if there was anybody else but @Owlsurfer purchased the “no room” option for 2014.

Tried going from the link but the date said 4th Dec. and when 2 people added it came up as £75. Phoned the hotel and they were really good. Took the booking for the 5th and at the right price of £100.

When you get to the link…

Change date in “Date From” to 5th

Hover over the Orange £75 and Click

Scroll down to No of Adults

Change to 2

The price will then be re-calculated to the correct £100.

Then book.

Booking online at the moment appears to be an additional £3.30, no idea why done everything as described. Will ring when I get chance as I need to check dietary requirements anyway.

Would love to make this one but with the little one due a few days before I can’t commit to it really. Hope you all have a good time and have a few beers for me!
My new years resolution will be to be more active with events with the club. I seem to miss out on all of them so I will do my best to sort that out!

Just for clarification.

I have spoken to the hotel regarding the price being wrong on the link.

It is in fact wrong, and they know about it.

No payment is taken at the time of booking for the room, it simply secures the reservation, so you can still use the link for this purpose.
