Yesterday I received confirmation that this coming years “ 2 Fast 2 Furious and American Muscle “ custom car show will be held on…
Saturday August 19th. 2006.

I’ve posted this now as a number of members stated they were unable to attend our last show due to me not giving enough notice…

This year has already shown a number of GTO owners interested in attending.

All GTO’s will be part of the show display unless it’s owner wishes otherwise and the show area should hold hundreds of cars.

All is completely [size=18]FREE[/size] apart from food, drink and Fair Ground Rides

This is an event that caters for every one and not just the guy’s and their
motors. You can go off and enjoy the other events knowing your car is
safe and on show…

Hopefully this year the show won’t clash again with TV, as I am unable to choose it’s date being that I am governed by the main Ashington Festival
Committee as to when it can be held.

All the events for this year are still being arranged but to give you an idea these are some of the event’s we’ve had this years…

Main Festival… Fair Ground, Main arena shows, Carnival Parade through the village, Display Stalls, Side Stalls, Car Boot Sale, Bouncing Castles for the kids, Food, Drink, Stunt BMX displays, Quad Bikes, Vintage Bus Rides, Fire Engine Display, Cheer Leader Displays, Majorettes Displays, Ballet Displays, Gymnastics, Local School Shows, Falcon Bird flying display, Small Animal Farm, Model Boat Displays, Clowns, Fancy Dress, Flower Display, Home Baked Cake Stalls, British Army Display,…

Evening… Fair Ground, Outside Live Band/ pop group, Food, Soft and hot drinks, Licensed Bar, Dancing, Giant Fireworks Display,

Car Show ( types of motors displayed )…

American Classic, American Muscle, American Custom Cars, Hot Rod, Street Rods, Custom Street Cars,
All Fast and Furious type of motors, Military Vehicles, Dragsters, Drag Bikes,
Super Sports cars… i.e.: Ferraris, Lambo’s, Astin Martin, GTO’s, (including all types of gto)
Evo’s, Supra’s, Scoobies, etc.:, Vintage and Veteran cars, British Collectors, British Classic, Speedworth Stock Cars, etc.: etc.:

Basically anything that is different or that would be of interest to whoever wanted to view it.

A number of car clubs come as well, such as the Corvette owners club,
Astin Martin owners Club, Mustang owners Club, etc.

This year there’s been talk of the

Ferrari owners Club…
Touring Championships Cars…
Rail Dragsrers…
I am also trying to get any or as many Formula One teams to bring
something to show.

The Dragster Bikes are also already book in for this coming years show.

Pleas not in my first post that the link to pictures from last years car show which was placed for those to see and get an idea of what kind of day 2 Fast 2 Furious and American Muscle is has been for reasons unknown deleted…

I will select a few and repost them within this topic as 2 Fast 2 Furious and American Muscle is far more than just a bunch of guy’s standing around cars… there is some thing for all the family to enjoy.

Alan, after a period of time the post get deleted, especially if they are in a section like past events. Post up the pictures in the gallery section, that what its there for and post a link to it

I was informed a few days ago that the car show will be seeing a small attendance of cars that
were used in **TOP GEARS **football game along with the giant football they used at the time…

The cars will first be used as part of the Carnival Parade and then after become part of
2 Fast 2 Furious and American Muscle custom car show itself.

have posted the road map of Ashington showing you where I live ( RH20 3LQ ) the post code to my house and where the car show is which is only a 2 min. walk away…

Quite a jurney for you to come… Steve and Tracie are trying to come down for a long weekend and have been looking for places to stay close by

I am hoping to come for the day and making a full day of it as I have got silverstone on the sunday so I will try to get there early saturday morning.
