All went smoothly today for set-up, @Lara @James3000GT @dodgemonkey @GT_RED_DEVIL getting the carpet down and the Club Backdrop, table and flags, well done guys and girls

Our Stand, and those 4 superb cars, are such a fitting tribute to GTOUK. I feel very privileged to have helped.
Re the end of the Show tomorrow, and the clearing of the Stand…I aim to be with you circa 4pm. I can initially park in one of the outer car parks (probably the East will be good by that time), but when it’s time to clear - public all gone etc - will I be able to bring my car closer to Hall 4, and will I need any paperwork like I did at set-up?

Im sure you can bring the car into the hall after the show ends using your wristband and car park pass.

Thanks young man. The only reason I queried this was because the car park pass has ‘Exhibitor Outer Area’ on it, and whether that would allow me into the Hall when it was time to pick up the gear.
I know it’ll all work out nicely.

Great weekend, our Club Stand really stood out and attracted a lot of public who were very interested in our cars.
Huge thanks to @dodgemonkey for transporting the equipment and your help setting up and taking down.
Well done to the 4 who exhibited and thanks to the other Members who popped along to support the Club.
We even had a surprise visit from @enda who flew over from Ireland with his Son to see us, great to catch up Enda.

What can I say?
An amazing show, GTOUK certainly had a presence. Unlike previous years we were placed in Hall 4 where the trade stands were located. Although there was a lot of foot traffic, Hall 5 would probably have been better. (Something to work on next time ).
The logistical side of this event was challenging this year, but well worth it for the end result.

@dodgemonkey bringing all the stand equipment (flags, backdrop, banners and carpets) travelling to the event Thursday on setup day, only to return on the Sunday evening to help take down and return the equipment back to storage at his own home. (Mike did this without any cost to the club, the mileage covered and time taken out, for us, who were on the stand won’t go unrecognised)
Thank you to the members who came to visit. I hope it was as enjoyably to you as it was for us.
Last but not least, to @3000gt (Simon) our Club Treasurer, who arranged the finacials, the equipment, backdrop, tablecloth and carpets are all brand new and were only decided on a cpl of weeks beforehand.
At the show I found time to talk to other clubs, most of which have a much larger membership base but did not have the standard of visual or design that GTOUK presented.
I may have gone on a little on this post but that is only because myself and @Tracie are proud to belong to this Club/family.

Thank you all for you very kind remarks. It was a pleasure to be part of it.
Ours cars stand out far more than any others, and our stand could not, in my opinion, have been sited more perfectly.
If we were to return to Hall 5 in the future, then I think we’d try for a similar stand position, somewhere in the middle, with walkways on at least 2 sides.
Yeah, that was a little disappointing on the takedown. It would have been a dream to have just driven in to Hall 4.
Must try harder next time!
Well done Steve and Tracie, James, Leon and Lara. Your cars were a fitting accolade to GTOUK. It was quite something, and even better, I was part of it. Brilliant.

BTW…the carpet, despite its bulkiness, was a really smart move.
