The problem is we have no say in how many cars we can have or the location/stand size we get.

I wonder what determines that process…could it be first come first served, or maybe a ‘cash incentive’?
I see what you mean, after taking a much closer look at the Hall plans for 4 and 5. The majority of the stands in Hall 5 - by a long way - were designated for Car Clubs.
Nonetheless, our position in Hall 4 couldn’t have been bettered.
I passed a broken FTO on the M42. It was rhe yellow one from their stand.

Yes I pulled in to the lady with the broken FTO - just in case I could help! She said it looks like the alternator had died as the battery just died etc… so not much I could do…

Possibly it worked to our advantage
With footfall going past us to trade stands and then back ?
Whereas in 5 visitors may look at stands and move on and not return past.
Just a little chilly there, warmer pretty much more in other areas
But such a lovely, fun day, meeting great people

Hi All,
The moment I walked on to the stand on Sunday my heart sank!
I am doing the right thing (after so many years of ownership) breaking my GTO.
I had several tears in my minds 
eye 
Talking to @stevie @Tracie @kevin_rhodes @James3000GT the feeling deepened as the day went on.
I had several conversations with all of you and so many memories came flooding back, good and bad.
Overall it was a fantastic 
day and I have made the decision I will not walk away from the club.
I may be GTO less in the near future but your a fantastic bunch of friends / mates / people and I will remain here to help and assist any of you in the future, with either knowledge and guidance or physically helping you.
I love GTOUK and all of you.
