What boost were you running and where did it start to fall off ?[/quote]
0.8 bar, just under and it was down below 0.7@5500 where it saw max power. If it had been at 0.8 still I would probably have seen 320. It sloped down linearly from the start.
h+i,
i did a video but only of my car,
cheers…russ
Thanks you James
Kool, Twin cooling fans, Great for Twin intercoolers
Also well done guys, wish I could have got the day off work to see your runs.
Would have been good to take Russ out for a spin in mine, as a small thankyou for the laps around Castle Combe, but i’m sure there will be another time mate.
Dell
Those are just the little baby snails Dell, the big mofo is a lot bigger, but you are correct- we got them for smic cars so you can point them right at the ic’s.
Cheers,
Ben.

What, the fan?
Yeah got it fixed by Thursday, so were up and running again.
I was meaning Andre’s car though. He was running the pod today, so be interesting when he checks in later.
Cheers,
Ben.

I had a blinder, considering I’ve never done a quarter mile before. I ran 11.47 secs at 122.44 mph and backed it up with an 11.52 secs at 122.69 mph.

Well done fella.
Cheers,

OMG Well done Andre!!!
Well into the 11’s at your first Q mile attempt, you must be chuffed to bits.
We saw how removing your filler cap improved draining your tank at the RR day, maybe you’ll have to loosen it when you run to help get all that fuel in!
Well done again,
Ivan.
Cheers Ivan
Hi Andre
Well done, as i mentioned on the way back from Northampton i did not think a sub 11.5 second run would be possible.
But you did it, proved me wrong, and posted some consistently good times.
It was a great day out, Paul wants to know when are you going again!!!
As it’s fairly! central perhaps you can have a GTO owners meet up?
Regards
Duncan & Paul
Cheers Duncan
It’s certainly possible, there are a number of members that would probably be up for a meet. Possibly sometime after the next rolling road day at Eurospec, so people know what they are ‘putting out’?
