That’s fair if you already have it. And Craig makes a valid point. However if you do get knock… Drive off boost…

Yeh thanks for the offer matey  sure someone will be along soon saying they need that piece lol

Cleaning my car this morning ive only just noticed from looking at pictures of other GTOs that i seem to have a different rear quarter window(the piece that connects from the door glass to the rear window) most if not all ive seen have the twin turbo marked plastic/plate in place of where ive got a glass window… Would this be an addition from a us market gto/3000gt

I was wondering is there anyway I can buy s replacement pipe from the cx racing intercooler kit atall? I only need the little piece that goes to the top turbo as mine was fractured when I bought the kit off julian and got a little worse last night and blown it off

Was it definitely a CX kit ? Try talking to Rob at the Evil empire as he sells these, failing that you may be able to get it welded up or a new one fabricated

Craig

Intercooler pipe fabricating is generally quite cheap and probably cheaper than sourcing a replacement. Sure someone on here will know somewhere local to you that will do it.

Quick google found this place that do fabrication work in Aluminium (I am assuming that this is ally). They should be able to weld that up with a new bolt hole. If not google metal fabrication in stockport and find some more places. Doesn’t need to be a car specialist fabricator for something like this.

Thanks max thats not far from me atall ive just emailed them. I wasnt sure that any metal fab place could repair this for me… Makes finding somewhere alot easier

If it was fabricating a whole new pipe then it would really need to be an automotive place. But to do that they really only need to weld a plate onto it and drill a hole. Anywhere that does fab work can do that. Just a case of if they are willing to do it.

I brought a replacement pipe direct from cx racing no problem at all.

Out of interest how much was the replacement pipe nas?

Is that the one you are after? Remember to allow for shipping and import duty on the price.

Thats the one works out around £150 with shipping + taxes

Get a quote for the fab work and see what the difference is. I would guess at around £50 all in for the fab work as a maximum.
