I did see some a year ago that were up for $450
In japan and thats the only set ive seen hence my first question as to why are they considered rare

Just while im here guys who’s the guru on engines on the site ive a misfire under load thats driving me crazy.
it does clear if i feather the gas and pulls like a train

I have a customer making GTO and 3000GT Proper Illuminated panels that wont die like the OEM ones do !! and yet are easier to fit and are 12 volt stable…lol

Will post pics as soon as they are ready and available

And yes they will be available in a variety of colours Red ,Green, Blue, etc

These are my quarter lights they certainly look like ones ive seen except as was pointed out mine illuminate red and not green or blue.
ive looked and its a red built in filter that creates the red.
so question still remains are they genuine?

The Perspex is an off red colour bit thats normal. have you wired them up? Someone might have changed the bulbs out … I would as blue or green wouldn’t work with a red car.

Evil Rob says they were never made in red so I’m inclined to believe him.

Yeah they wired in.
Were already fitted when bought the car.
I’ll take a pic later when it gets bit darker

There is also two versions

The very early that break a lot

And the Later don’t break so much version :smiley:

And no the red ones are not original… That does not distract from the fact that

  1. the probably look better on a red car.

2.Yours are red not like everybody else’s

The set thats on ebay at the moment at £42 are believe it or not purple illumination

Neil club chairman may be inteterested thats if his is a gto and not a 3000gt

My car is a gto, I have a set here, my car is on a weight saving mission so I will not be adding items, but thanks for thinking of me :smile:
