If the road map out of Lockdown continues as planned it will go ahead, the problem we have with planning anything and booking anything is, nobody knows what effect the early relaxation of lockdown will cause, so it’s very difficult as a Committee to make those decisions, do we pay for a marquee, do we pay for a DJ, how many tickets do we buy?
We are just trying to gauge interest here so that we can make a decision, GTOUK have attended every year with a huge presence, hopefully we can do that again this year.
Should however we attend this event, we will take any necessary precautions to keep our Members safe.

Ok so JAE have discounted the Tickets, If you purchase your Tickets before 20 may, we will pass this 30% discount on so a £13.50 saving, down to £31.50 from £45, in addition all purchases though the Club due to last years zero event the Club will refund £10 at the event
So this 3 day event now only costs £31.50 if you purchase before 20 May
Anyone who has purchased a ticket , I will refund the difference
We need at least 15 tickets sold by this date for me to Book and pay for the Marquee

The JAE event is at Norfolk show grounds Norwich. Please remember that to display a car and use the GTOUK tickets you must be a full member. Full membership is available from the club shop for £20 p/a.

Ok thanks buddy. Does anyone do any owner meets around South Wales/south west area?
There have been various meets around the country in the past. Of course COVID has meant this has been scaled back. Most meets tend to be around the middle of the country.
All that said I am travelling to JAE from Wiltshire and I guess the drive is part of the fun and reason for the car

Sounds good - all full members are welcome at club meets and trust me they’re great fun as well as a good chance to talk cars and get advice from fellow members so JAE is £31 and membership is £20 so not a bad deal.

Be good to see you there Dave, at the moment JAE haven’t advertised Day tickets on their website, but I’m sure they will eventually.
As regards our stand, we can sort out a payment for food for the day/evening as we have done for day visitors in the past, although we are currently undecided on the catering aspect of things due to Covid, it’s a kind of ‘watch this Boris space’ situation at the moment, but as and when this is decided we can let you know.
It’s only the food side of things that may have to be tweaked this year, otherwise it will be all as you know it, Peps, marquee, fun etc although Steve and I have, shall we say, slowed down a bit since you last ‘socialised’ with us. (Simon breathes a sigh of relief)
