Managed to get to the Essex meet in a response car a couple of times, but don’t think i can pull it off taking it all the way to Kent, gonna have to work really hard then to reach our 8 minute response time

This look like we are going to have a great turn out so far. The more people come…the better the future meets will be. If we only get 3 cars on the first meet the chances are there will be no more as people always hope for a big turnout and wont come to the next one. Lets jump start the Kent meets with a bang !
In the summer i/we will be holding one of the Kent meets at Emma’s fathers farm. We can do some proper clay pigeon shooting (with shot guns and air rifles), have a nice big BBQ and ride my quad bike if i haven’t broken it by then :lol: … so lets do our best too keep this alive.
Actually, provided it isn’t pi$$ing down, it will give me an opportunity to test my currently £300 worth (probably £400 worth by the meet) Nikon 10mp DSLR.
After My F301 sitting in a wardrobe for 12 years I couldnt resist it.

I have been to the pub today and spoke to the owners, lovely couple and family run pub. They are very happy we are using their pub for our meet and will be cordoning off most the parking in front of the pub for us/GTO’s only. They have also reserved 3 large tables for us in the pub/restaurant section right by the warm fire place.
Had some lunch there and the food was absolutely fantastic… not your usual pub food at all. They serve lunch untill 2.30pm so we would need to order fairly soon after arrival if anyone fancies a great big pub roast.
I did very quickly snap a pic of my roast but its not the best as i didnt want to look like a prat :lol:
With abit of luck Danny C & myself will be joining you guys- whether we are in a GT or not depends on something, ANYTHING finally going right on building his car! :evil: :evil:
If not in that we’ll get there somehow
