As said try classic insurance. Should be able to knock a ‘0’ off that!
I’ll be sure to look into this tomorrow, that would literally be a dream come true!
On a side note, anyone have any idea whatsoever as to what this wire thingy is hanging down next to the exhaust on the left side of the car? I’m literally baffled as to what it could be…
Its the cable form the old active exhaust motor , yours has an aftermarket exhaust so its not needed , either cut it off or remove the mechanism form inside the boot

Wait, so the button on my dash which switches between Sport and Tour (which I thought controls the active exhaust) is essentially doing nothing? Or does it also control the Suspension?
These cars were so ahead of their time!
The tour sport button is for the suspension , the exhaust switch is lower down on the dash left hand side just above where your knee would be (or might be right canny remember nowadays lol )

Yeah active exhaust switch wont do anything now , remove the panels in the boot left hand side unplug it and remove it , weight saving

So just got off the phone to Adrian flux, asked them about classic car insurance and according to them, you need to be insured on another vehicle as well as having no claims bonus on another vehicle before you can be entitled to classic car insurance.
Anyone know of any other insurance companies who may provide a better quote? If not I may have to sell my car. 
(Also, removed that wire, weight reduction win lol)

I’m currently insured with a -plan and they wanted £480 for my Gto TT so ive gone with my old company again footman James on a classic car insurance with 7000mile limit for £243:+1:
can’t fault them and Adrian flux wanted £1180!! Lol
