You’re right mate and that is my feeling that it is over priced and limited market. The guy said he would take £9500. The inspection company provide a specialist valuation and will negotiate on your behalf based on their inspection so will be interested in what they say. I’d personally like to pay £7.5 to £8k.

It will be difficult to walk away from the car if it is a good one, but that’s the only way to get the price down. Give them the offer and walk away. Give them your number and tell them if they change their mind…
Risky, but it often works, especially with limited market stuff. Otherwise, its suck it up and pay!
If he’s said he’ll take £9.5K then I think there’s certainly another £500 to be had face to face. Exciting stuff! :+1:

Check it’s clean underneath, get it undersealed immediately if you buy it.

I think I might be getting my years and specs confused but am I right that UK cars in '97 had uprated power at around 320hp and electric sunroof and 6 sp box - were there other changes?

I have a 1999 3000GT, with a Mrk 4 fron and rear conversion, I purchased it in 2003, I had a GTO MR import before 1995

I would have to agree with you. Don’t know who owns it. Picture was taken a couple of months ago at Reading retail park. Thought I’d post the picture as the post mentioned Reading Jap meet.
