Hi all
recently purchased a mk2 twin turbo gto fairly standard. I live in south wales and could anyone recommend
a reputable tuner / specialist not too far from me?

will get some pics soon. I had one a mk1 turbo many years ago and seen this and couldn’t leave it!
previous owner only covered 12k miles in 10 years! always garaged like I have. cat back exhaust, hks induction, just installed hks boost controller only conservative 0.9 bar.
when I bought it aeros weren’t working 2 microswitches sorted that , put new discs and pads up front and had to sort blowing exhaust all done drives and pulls very well.

Hi and welcome to GTOUK Can’t help with a tuner in your area unfortunately but a lot of people here use Eurospec in Guildford and they are highly recommended , bit of a jaunt mind but worth it

Again can’t help with anyone in your area but reccomend Eurospec like everyone else will.
It’s only a decent blast down the m4 so not too bad 
Will look Eurospec up cheers. Yes have owned variety of performance cars over the years and had a tweak with most! Used to be a Revo dealer at once. Few years ago had r33gtr running 400hp and the gto has more midrange and feels more planted .the gto is as good as the gtr without a doubt .
I have seen the r33 rocket in values last few years as I was gutted when mine went what I sold it for but the gto is going the same way .

The gtr had more feel through the steering getting tail out etc when on pace but the gto has more grip less body roll probably due to car being lower and wider.
At the mo I’m probably running 370-380 hp (mine started out as a 320hp) import and lot more torque low to midrange than gtr I’d say but gtr has more legs top end but mine still has standard down pipe and precats plus main cat where as gtr didn’t and running 1 bar so next on my list down pipes and take out precats!
Think gto has more potential ??

Well there’s one in the club running over a 1000bhp , so I would say so yes 
Plenty are running over 400 and quite a few over 500

I am very tempted to go big hp. Thing is my mate has a 700hp r35 gtr and its insane so I have a challenge to get the gto similar in performance .
Already been looking at turbos etc so if anybody out there has tuning bits for sale please let me know .
Just remember you cannot chip nor flash the standard ecu. You’ll need a standalone or a piggyback for these cars 
Yes if you run air flow converter you can go to 550 injectors after that like you said ecu upgrades .

Welcome, where in South Wales are you?, I’m originally from Port Talbot but take the GTO down to visit relatives in Pencoed occasionally. The GTO has massive potential for big HP, depends how much time, money, sweat and tears you want to spend. Here’s a clip of Andre’s 1000hp GTO!

Been a while since I been on here and a lot has happened with the gto over last year or so!
Plenty of upgrades 19t turbos ,id 1050 injectors, link ecu so running speed density, updated fuel pump and wiring and fuel regulator, mishimoto radiator, full s/s exhaust with d/pipes, list goes on but had to put paddle clutch in and 356mm k sport 8 pot callipers to stop her with braided brake lines Oh and a front mount intercooler.
We ran it at a conservative 1 bar boost 450hp then changed to mishimoto rad new stat now back at tuners for a new cam sensor aswell and re tune to up boost now improved cooling so will take her to over 500hp .

That’s another one added to the list ! I havent seen yours about, my mrs has seen a red one whilst she was in work, and a friend sent me a picture of another one at a car meet (cant remember the colour)
Mines in a bit of a sorry state at the moment but I’m hoping to get it done eventually
