Dont panic yet, a few changes may still be made, for now can you
please check and advise - names correct/power figs/detail etc if incorrect.
we have a few reserves standing by in case but need to ensure any changes are notified by this coming weekend where possible.

packs/tickets sent out to all after that. 3 competitor stickers with the official logo/race numbers will be issued at signing on to all drivers and

Doubtful for me due to a recent electrical faux par (And not by me!). Chris also has little time for mapping it and I just don’t want to rush the final stages.
But I would like to add that despite all of the people that have bitched to Dave Naxton about the way he has selected people for TOTB only ONE PERSON FROM GTOUK IS RUNNING!
In a few PM’s it was made clear that I should not be in the team as I have not proven myself, hence I was put in the 200+ Team to try and get some high speed run points.
So the one year that Dave does as people have asked and make the GTOUK entry process fully democratic only one person has entered for the team therefore making it the worst turn out for the GTO’s since the event started.
Dave, I think you should go back to the old process of selection and invitation as complying with other peoples demands certainly has not worked.
Keep up the good work chap and I’m sure you will have a very busy time supporting two teams.

I was thinking the same thing, surely there are some decent motors in the club that could have made this event. I wouldn’t have minded myself but the cars still in Sumiyaka and I’ve proved nothing except that I’ve spent far too much and still dont have a car. :roll:

Is a 9 second really possible from Ben??? I thought sub 11 was incredible…I hope to get my next 1/4 mile closer to 13 seconds next I get!
A 9 from Ben would be extreamly hard but if anyone deserves it Ben does. He has bust a gut for that car and is proving what can be done here in the UK. (Or the EU for that matter)
As for your 13 seconds, a high 12 sjould be your target.
Gon4a has done a few sub 13 second runs on a full weight GTO plus audio kit and a boot full of tools!
He only has the most basic of mods. Just goes to show what can be done with an E-Boost and a good driver.

if the gtouk club has been invited to enter, who else can dave ask - i think the under 12 sec rule what was mentioned may of put alot of people off also, if this was aimed at me i only have so much money, time and energy im afraid. yes i did bitch (as you call it ) last year to dave but it was my fault for not making it clear i wanted to race.

mark - you dont seem the type of person who would say “ok i will go into the 200 plus club totb team” because of a few pm’s, also whats the point of saying a few badmouth pm’s were sent - that just causes bad feelings in the club -" oh yes i know who that will have been " etc. so i reccon your either better of naming names -or dont mention it. im pretty sure you are in the top 5 quickest cars in our club and the one with the biggest potential - what more do you have to prove ?

It’s only ever been a really short possible entry list, as the numbers in the club to manage low 12’s is small, never mind sub 12’s.
As sub 12’s seems/seemed to be a prerequisite for entry, I expect no-one else even thought they had a chance of been allowed to compete.
Please don’t anyone take this as a criticism as this is not how it’s intended. It’s just the entry requirements are simply out of most of the owners in this clubs reach.
I also feel it’s a pity that a 3 discipline event chooses to use a single event as the bar/level for entry into the competition. :roll:

i think its easier to prove your quarter time as all 1/4 tracks are 1/4 mile long up and down the country - how do you prove how fast you can go round a corner :? have you been to the totb and seen them evos flying round that track as tho it was a Scalextric track -impressive to say the least :shock:

Well, according to the TOTB site, advanced ticket sales are now closed.
Might pop up on the day to watch how people do. Never have been to TOTB but always wanted to 
Mate its a giggle! Some real fast cars there, and a total cross section too!
I saw a corsa with a boatload of nos spannering everything it raced last year, a civic made of paper mache, you name it, then you have the norris/mad/calder etc cars. Its well worth a go!

The event will run despite the British weather!
Programme of the Day- (times may be amended as required)
9am Gates open to public/club show cars
9.45 Driver Briefing- pitlane- all competitors must attend.
10am Noise test- all cars (unless tested on Sat 29th)
10.30am Open qualifying for all events.
1pm Pro-Drag 8second Shootout- Main drag strip– Keith Cowie vs. Tim Webster
First ever head-to-head between the 8s 1/4m cars of Keith Cowie’s RB Motorsport R32 Skyline vs. Tim Webster’s Duke R33 Skyline.
3.15pm Handling Circuit-End of Qualifying
(Circuit stays open for untimed practise laps until 3.45pm.)
3.30pm Drag and Top speed- End of Qualifying.
3.35-4pm Demo Displays Drag bike/car demo runs/untimed practise.
3.45pm approx. Leadings cars announced on P.A system. Qualifying cars will be called up for Handling / Drag Shootouts. Any cars not ready to run at 4pm will be eliminated.
4pm Handling Shootout – Top 4 Handling Cars overall run off in reverse order, one lap each to determine the Redline TOTB 6 Handling Shootout Champion.
4.10pm Drag strip- Pro-drag shootout Top 4 cars from qualifying from the Pro-drag class battle it out to a final conclusion- Pro Drag Champion
4.20pm approx 1/4m Drag Shootout Eliminators Road cars
First across the line wins
Fwd Road Class Shootout- Top 4 cars from qualifying go Head-to-Head
Rwd Road Class Shootout-Top 4 Cars from qualifying go Head-to-Head
4wd Road Class Shootout- Top 4 Cars from qualifying go Head-to-Head
2wd Drag Final-Rwd Winner vs. Fwd Winner - road cars
4.30pm approx Redline TOTB 6 1/4m Drag Shootout Final- Road cars
2wd vs. 4wd- First across the line.
To determine the Redline TOTB 6 1/4m Drag Shootout Champion- Road car
4.40pm Results Collation
4.50pm Redline TOTB 6 Overall Champion Announced
(Highest points total from all 3 events plus any points gained from the shootout finals.)
5pm Trophy Presentation and Photographs
Class Winners- Handling, Top speed, 1/4m drag.
Redline Shootout Champions- Drag and Handling.
Sponsors Trophies and other Awards.
Redline TOTB 6 Team Award.
Overall Redline TOTB 6 Champion Trophy Award
Event Closes.
