Will be trying to get a time on the board this weekend to see if I can qualify to enter for this. Needs to be a sub 12 for 4WD non club entry tho and I only get the car back on Saturday.
I hope you can get a running time, in time for this event, as I would think your car should do very well.
you have a light car, with some great mods 8)
Not this year unfortunately, it rained all day at the track last weekend. There was standing water on the start line and all sorts. Kept lighting all four wheels up on the way down so couldn’t get any sort of time on the board.
Dual Ball Bearing DR1200’s, ATS carcon tripple clutch, new crank, blueprinting blah blah, head water jackets welded, billet pump gears, cams etc.
I hope it works!
Cheers,

Wow sounds like you’ve been a busy boy Ben
Looking forward to seeing you brake your own records 8)
Do you know if they always keep the timed circuit unchanged,if so do you know the best times achieved by our cars, & how much slower are we to the other top car in our grouping.
No the timed circuit changes from time to time. The first two years i did it it was pretty much the same, but the last 2 years its been much bigger. They even changed it on the morning of the event the year before last as the evo guys were out walking round it the night before.
We’ll see how it goes. It will be the cars first outing anywhere on the new spec, so we will see. I expect the power band to be very high up, but then all hell should break loose!
Its gonna be nice to have another gto running. The last few years its just been me.
Sorry- just on the handling times- mine are shite and always have been on the handling circuit. To put it in context i was second last of all cars for the last two years. Last year the only thing i beat broke down half way round.
I dont profess to be good on the handling circuit and i’m sure the platform can go faster than i can do, but our class has the evos and the scoobs in it. You are competing there against time attack pro cars. Oddly enough they can beat me by about 10 or 12 secs!
Top speeds will also be incomparable. It used to be 1.25 miles, last year it was a mile, and this year i think it will be 0.75.
Unfortunately you need a tad more than just seats to get in to TOTB … ‘Horsepower’s’ lots of them! … oh and some good times down the strip
 i think chris knows that mate he has nearly the second fasted 1/4 mile time in the club and that was on in the wet
he would have been at this event but couldnt get a decient day to get a qualifing time
im hoping to get down to this with simon from sitech racing, hes entering his escort again, hope to see some of the guys there
