plus you have to have two seats in situe…so two lightweight ones are better than one…

Ah, today I’m learning something. Didn’t realise that before. Right enough, the main classes are supposed to be for road cars so that kinda makes sense.
Yeah they have a few regs Chris, You have to have a ‘front passenger seat’ They tech your car, stuff like tyres, battery tie down, no stuff rolling about, seats, harnesses, helmet kite mark, noise etc.

Yeah, I heard about a guy running around on the morning of the event a couple of years back trying to buy a set of tyres cos he’d gone down with track slicks on. Still, I got plenty of time to read up on the rules for next year.
They are fine really, the only thing they are really hot on is tyres. You have to be careful with semi slicks. If they arent on their list thats it.
The rest of it is basically MOT pass type stuff. As long as it can pass a ticket, it should pass tech no probs. Luckily for all of us they dont test emmisions! :lol:

That’s the main thing that would worry me. Screamer pipes open to atmosphere is pretty loud - and your motor will be shifting a lot more exhaust gas than mine!

i was talking to kieth cowie yesterday at the car show i was at and he might not make it this year(his car still needs mapped) i wanted to see his beast of a skyline in action.he said the noise restrictions are going to be an issue this year as the council won there court case against the airfield.so could be a very short show if they decide to shut it down lets hope that doesnt happen,i will be there with simon from sitech racing and his escort,hope o meet up with you guys
