Trackday at Donington Park

Editted with change of date and format…

3rd of March at Donington Racetrack, near the East Midlands airport. Price is £199 per car, which includes entry to the track, unlimmited tracktime through the day, 20 minutes free instruction with an ARDS race instructor, a free passenger ride in the track Lotus or Caterham, up to 3 passengers and up to 3 additional drivers for your car. In addition, Julian has booked a pair of joined pit lane garages which will have space for working on upto 4 GTO undercover, with parking space outside them for another 2 GTOs in the pit lane. The main difference (apart from the stuff included in the price) is that this trackday is an open pitlane type. This means the numbers are reduced (maximum 60 places - 26 already sold) and instead of there being set sessions of 20 minutes duration, drivers can go on the track as and when they like, and for as long as they like.

So, who fancies a wet and slippery day learning how to push and handle their car in the safety of Donington Park?

Steve

18th of February sounds good to me Steve.

Will check my license out later with them if its compatible, if not it must be time for a UK duplicate

Am sure a track session will not be covered under the terms of a warranty…check the small print  especially if they find traces of blonde hair in the upholstery…try explain that one

Mike

Webbo, you may have to have hand restrainers if you are in a softop, they are like straps that fix your wrists to the steering wheel, stop your arms flying out and being crushed if you crash/roll.

how do i change gear james??

I think the left one is long enough to move to the gearchange but short enough to keep your arm in the car… :o
