I rang the Trackzone woman yesterday to find out if they had confirmed any of their dates yet, and they said they were hoping to advertise confirmed dates in February by the end of the week. Apparently the hold up is down to their maintenance work and the contractors not having solid dates for the work finishing.
That said, I may be able to stretch the extra £90 for the 3rd with you instead Julian. I think it’ll be worth it for the open pit lane format. As we can fit 2 GTOs in each pit garage, do we want to book 2 of them in advance (an extra £40) and split it between us? I’m sure we can ask for a pair of joined garages like last time.
Mike, Webbo, James, Stevie and any others interrested - are you up for the 3rd of March instead?

PS, free passengers, up to 3 other drivers per car free, free tuition and free passenger rides in the Lotus - sounds like a done deal 8)
Im up for the extra cost of 2 garages, would be nice for a few of us to go & plenty of track time as well, 9am till 5pm, if the ones who said they wanted to go, still do & put their hands in their pockets, then i think a good day will be had by all, Its left with you guy`s.

I’ve spoken to Stevie tonight, and he’s up for the 3rd. I’ve checked my shifts and plans, and I’m free for the 3rd aswell, so “job’s a good 'un”, as they say. I’ll get my place booked tonight.
Julian, a pair of garages sounds great. Could you ask for 2 adjoining ones like we had last time? That way we can all pit together and share tools without being at other ends of the pits . I have a mate who’s just bought an Evo VIII and wants to trackday it with us, so we’ll certainly be able to fill the garage.

No, 35 & 36 are classed as 2 garages, last time we had half the block, that was 35 & the guy with the little red car had 36, i have booked the whole block = 2 garages = 4 cars = £40, thats 4 cars actually under cover, but as you can see from the piccie, there is room for 2 more on the front

Julian, as I thought mate - so that’s you and me booked, plus Webbo and Stevie about to book, and maybe Hu. Do you reckon the double garage (35 + 36) would do for us, or do we need more? My mate Mark, who was with us last time, is fetching his 4x4 with him, so I’ll have all my tools, spares and a spare set of wheels with me, should anyone need to borrow anything.

I thought you said your mate with the evo was coming, with the ones that are coming, i would think we will manage, the only problem, unless we all go out on the track together, is moving people out of the way if you want to get out of the garage, when i said Neil could get a garage with someone else, i didnt mean instead of with us, i just thought, you, me, your mate & Stevie were the four, if your not counting your mate, then yes, Neil is one of the four :D I think ill shut up before i put my foot in something :?

If its running sweet, you won`t blow the guts out of it, this is what they were designed for, mine owes me too much to sit in a garage & be polished, my attitude now is sod it, it owes me so much, i am going to get my monies worth out of her & if that means having fun doing it, then so be it :twisted:
