Is the engine fully forged?what conrods,pistons crank etc
No, just a standard engine. New slightly oversize pistons from EE, then it’s a 4 bolt so will be a forged crank. Then it had the crank skimmed, flywheel skimmed, head skimmed, rebored, and valves lapped in at Chase engines. I think the machining work alone came to £1200 IIRC

Not sure how much is on the engine James but as an example
I sold a 4bolt block with weisco Pistons , forged rods , new crank bearings and all machine work done for 1400 , that cost me a lot more to get it to that stage too ,
Yep, I’ve spent £3k+ on this engine if you add up all of the stuff on the bills. But how often are you going to find a freshly built engine with 16 miles on it?? I’ve had a reasonable amount of interest in it, so I’m hopeful
If I don’t get £2k for it I’m going to keep it until I can find one that needs a new engine, should make for some cheap motoring

What I want to know if you have forged conrods like cp and are pistons forged like wiseco. On the on the invoice it doesn’t say.
Are they oem pistons and conrods in the engine?
Yes, all standard. The conrods are the originals and the pistons are OEM spec aftermarket. So just a standard engine, nothing forged
I would’ve be interested if it was fully forged as I was planning to rebuild mine.

The box was bent so I didn’t hold out too much hope for the contents, my suspicions were confirmed when I opened the bubble wrap.
