Hey Ian, can you confirm price is £35? Perhaps put this on the 1st post as well to make it obvious?

Paul

ill pay on the day if possable i dont trust the people ate the post to deal with my stuff unless i can paypal it you you ??

If anything happened to Ian’s car (Tellyboy) he’d have to top himself like i would!

Well Dynos are from brave men!

Ray

If I can redline it on the road I don’t see any problems on a roller? It’s about time I knew what the old girl is chuffing out so I know what to expect when I do other things.

Ok… stupid newbie question here… what is a eurospec dyno run ??? :?: Sound s good??

Eurospec is a Trader on here and they have just installed a new rolling road dyno, so a few of us are going down to the workshop to test it out!

Paul

I wonder if i’m allowed to come down just to watch? maybe talk MapECU2? £35 is a great deal but red lines on my lady ?? god its cruel!

Ray

if you dont feel like red lineing it ray ill have a go for you :stuck_out_tongue:

As far as I can tell from the slips I’ve seen of others’ dyno runs, these engines produce maximum power and torque before 6,500 rpm so I can’t see any good reason to take it to 7,000 rpm.
Am I wrong?

Jason your often too kind for your own good, its nice to have chaps willing to help!

Cya tomoz! lol

I would say thats true on the dyno, & my best 1/4 mile runs were done once I keeped revs around 6300/6500 rpm
At TOTB it was the tight handling track that pushed the whole car the hardest, the gearing was really wrong, I found myself maxing the revs on some bends to get the most out of the car :frowning:

Dell

im going to a dyno next month so what should we run our cars for the best figures. last time i took it to 7000k. what gear should we run in ,3rd :? i know the civic boys got low figures cause they ran theres in 3rd and should have been 4th.

No car is the same, I think Ben & the Eurospec guys will find the best rpm for each car, to get its highest Bhp & Torque, but I not sure what gear they will decied to use :?:

Dell

Most of the time you use 4th gear as its the closest to a 1:1 ratio (gearbox : wheel speed)

Ian, i’ll def take the place and danny will pay on the day.

Pete
