ALL 2020 GTOUK CLUB EVENTS ARE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
AS EVENTS AND MEETS ARE GIVEN THE GO AHEAD, AND WE RECEIVE DATES FROM ORGANISERS WE WILL INFORM MEMBERS.
If anyone has any questions please let one of us know.
If any members need help with refunds regarding hotels/tickets booked contact one of us.
We will do everything we can to help sort or gather information needed to resolve any issues.

I’ve just seen that they still think the Silverstone classic is going ahead.
Any thoughts if anyone might like to attend?

Yeah, was a good event last year, despite the rain.

Myself and my brother are on the mailing list as we already have our tickets for the show camping and hospitality , I’m guessing a lot will depend on f1 doing a double header and also travel restrictions with a lot of the overseas competitors.
If it runs a depleted race schedule then I’m not sure whether it’s worth it

I’m going to go for it, as it gets expensive later, and any tickets will be valid for a rescheduled event.

Afraid the club scaled back events after low numbers at all events last year.
If numbers build back up we will definitely do more like this again.
Hopefully the anniversary/Jae event is a go this year and we can get some good numbers.
I’d like to think there is at least a chance of JAE going ahead.
My GTO will be making the journey if it does.
If nothing else, I really hope we can do the Japshow Finale. Got to be able to do events by then, haven’t we?!!

Tbh I can’t see it happening.
But who knows.
Me and my brother are just chatting about it , can imagine social distancing would be a nightmare , what with the concerts , bars etc , travel restrictions getting competitors there , then the issues with camping and the amenities with people using the toilet blocks , ok in a van/camper To a degree but in a tent it would be nigh on impossible to avoid using them
Sorry can’t make it I’ll be in Corfu from the 1st of August 
I would imagine F1 will take priority and it seems like it’s a pretty much done deal on what would have been the classic weekend
I imagine that’s the end of that then.
They might reschedule for later on the year, hoping the restrictions might not be as severe?

I’m hoping they reschedule for next year tbh mate , I would rather have a full on event than one that is restricted In some way , my brother and I were talking earlier and said that we’ve already paid our money with the camping hospitality etc so am happy to roll it instead of a refund . As you know it’s a cracking event and wouldn’t want a diluted version of it
